D.C Diner is the restaurant in Mystery Train Island, where Poptropicans are all getting ready to board to the train to the Chicago World’s Fair in 1893. Before they hop on the train they want to grab a quick bite to eat at the D.C. Diner! This is a mini-game that is basically a table-waiting game where the player is a waiter or waitress in a busy train station diner.
Here how it works: a customer will come by to the restaurant and you will see the symbol of a pocket watch in a speech balloon. It means that they are waiting to be seated and they are hungry. Click on the symbol to give them a seat. After a moment, another speech balloon will appear displaying a menu and after a while a drink. This can be soda, root beer or coffee. When you see what they want, go to the right and pour the proper drink ordered. Click and press the dispenser until the progress bar is full.
When full it will be placed on the serving tray. Now you can deliver it to the customer. Next, the customer will ask again for a food item. This will be either a hamburger or a chicken platter, and the player must go to the right, to the kitchen, and request it from the cook. The customers will either finish eating and leave and you can now get the tray and to the washing area and finish the one round meal or the customer can also ask for another drink or a dessert.
As each level increases so does the customer count. It will be crazy for you handle all of them by yourself, and you will need help and additional facilities. If you are a paid member, you can play all levels to become the master of the D.C. Diner!
